it officially feels like winter now in north carolina, but i'm still dreaming of europe in the summer. i still have so many pictures to sort through, but here are a few from our time in paris.
one can never spend too much time in paris! looking back, i am so thankful we spent so much time in this classy city.
i just don't want to forget about all that we saw and experienced cet été!

i officially leave the country on january 8th!
i honestly cannot believe that i am already making a packing list once again. . . but, unlike the other trips, this time, i'll be packing for half a year.
yesterday as i drove into charlotte for work, i was listening to npr when one of the reporters mentioned something about the upcoming events for next month. it was right then and there that it all hit me - next month! next month starts a whole new year and on the the first week of the next month, i leave home for a really long time.
i couldn't be any more excited, but i still feel overwhelmed by all the money, time, and supplies necessary for me to do this! as always, i know that God has something good planned and my life/ my plans are totally in his control.
. . . "heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
still be my vision, o ruler of all."

fridays have always been my favorite day of the week. they are always so wildly unpredictable and exciting. i told little ruthie today that one of the reasons i love fridays so much is that we get to spend so much time together. she just smiled and continued to play with her stroller {or "roller" as she likes to call it}.
enjoy the weekend and read as many good books as you can get your hands on!
