in need of some change around here

to celebrate summer, i've decided to change up the look of this little blog. . . & this one.

kelsey & i made some progress tonight on planning for europe. we finally purchased our flights to london!!! i have never planned so little for a trip this big, but we are both excited & surprisingly relaxed about everything. we leave on the 4th of july & get back home on the 10th of august.

also, i made up my mind about my little 50mm lens. . . i went for it! i know that each of these big purchases will be entirely worth the money in the end & i cannot wait to see where they takeme this summer.

i should probably get some sleep now. . . sarah is coming over tomorrow morning to do some yoga with kelsey & i before she leaves for rwanda!!! she is going to have such an incredible time & i know that she will come back full of inspiration. i'm excited also because my little green bag is going along with her. this bag has a long history of travel . . . it's seriously the sisterhood of the traveling bag! it all started with peru, then it went to india, & then maria brought it with her to china, & now, now it's going to africa.
